Man City vs Atalanta
Manchester City are set to play host to Serie A outfit Atalanta on Tuesday evening.
This will be the Citizens’ 3rd Champions League game of the season with Pep Guardiola’s men already picking up victories vs Shakhtar Donetsk and Dinamo Zagreb this campaign.
City’s two wins so far means they are currently sat top of Group C with Zagreb behind them in second spot with three points.
As for Atalanta, they are dead bottom of Group C and are yet to earn a single point in the competition this season.
Pep on the Champions League
While Pep Guardiola’s side look like they are set to qualify from their CL group again, the City boss doesn’t seem too confident his side can go on and win the whole thing.
Manchester City took on Crystal Palace this past weekend, coming away with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from David Silva and Gabriel Jesus.

After the game, Guardiola spoke about how City need to be more clinical and pointed to a specific incident in the Palace game where Jesus could have passed to Kevin De Bruyne for an easy chance.
Guardiola went on to state that he doesn’t think City are ready to win the Champions League:
“The last action … like when he has to pass to Kevin, he has to do it.
“But he is so young. We missed a lot of chances and also lost a lot of chances in the box. We have to be clinical.
“The people say about the Champions League, that target. We still are not ready. We create a lot, don’t concede, but can improve. We’ve scored a lot over the last two seasons and I don’t have doubts about that, but we have to keep going, work on that.” As quoted by the Guardian.
